Highland Landscaping website design

Highland opens in a garden, with deep green, quiet cream and room to take in the planting. We wanted that unhurried feel to carry through the ten pages. You can look through the gardens, find the work you're interested in and understand what might affect the price before putting an enquiry together.

What this website needed to do.

Help a homeowner picture what could change in their garden and understand the work behind it. The website needed space for the gardens themselves, as well as straightforward explanations of design, construction and ongoing care.

The decisions behind the design.

Separate the services people need

Someone looking for planting help shouldn't have to read through an entire garden rebuild. Design, landscaping, stone and paving, planting, and care each have a page. The design page starts with how you'll use the space, its conditions and the upkeep you're happy to take on.

Let visitors inspect the garden examples

The garden gallery is worth spending time in. You can filter the six images by type of work, open one up and move between them with the keyboard. Notes explain the brief and work shown, giving you something more useful to consider than a row of pictures alone.

Explain what changes a quote

A patio price means very little without knowing what's underneath it. The pricing page puts example figures beside the work they cover, then explains the effect of access, preparation and materials. That gives someone a better starting point for thinking about their own garden.

Prepare a more useful enquiry

The enquiry starts with where the garden is and what you'd like to change. You can add a budget or timing if you know them, and a link from a service page can select that service for you. The result is a draft to copy or download; nothing is sent.

The enquiry tool creates a draft you can copy or download. It does not send a message.

What to take into your own website.

The details will be different for your business, but these are useful places to start.

  • Give planting, paving and full garden projects their own explanations, so people can find the work they need.
  • For a real landscaping business, pair its own project photographs with the brief and the work involved.
  • A location and a few words about the garden give the first conversation somewhere useful to start.

Let's plan your website.

Tell us what you do and what you'd like your website to do better. We'll help work out the pages, write the words and build a design that feels right for the business.
