Website service terms
UpOnUp website
service terms.
These are the terms for the standard UpOnUp business website. Please read them before paying. If your project needs something outside this offer, we will agree that separately in writing.
1. Who you are buying from
The seller is UpOnUp, Castlemead, Lower Castle St, Castlemead, Bristol BS1 3AG. Email [email protected]. UpOnUp is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.
This standard offer is intended for websites used for a business or organisation. Tell us before ordering if you need a different type of website or have a specific deadline or integration.
2. Your website build
The current offer build prices are £799 GBP, €999 EUR and $999 USD. The October offer has 20 places for new customers. It ends when those places are taken or on 31 October 2026 at 23:59 GMT, whichever comes first. Places are allocated in order of completed payment, across all currencies. These are fixed prices for each currency, not exchange-rate conversions. The build price is paid in two parts: a deposit of roughly half when you order (£399 GBP, €499 EUR or $499 USD) and the balance when you approve the finished website, before it is published (£400 GBP, €500 EUR or $500 USD). Stripe checkout shows the exact deposit amount and currency before payment. Bank transfer is also available with verified receiving details and a unique order reference; we check bank receipt before confirming payment. From 1 November 2026, or sooner if all 20 offer places are allocated, standard website pricing starts at £3,000 GBP. The final price depends on the agreed scope and is confirmed before payment.
When the offer ends, standard website pricing starts from £3,000 GBP, €3,500 EUR or $3,800 USD, depending on the currency selected. Compared with those starting prices, the offer saves at least £2,201 GBP, €2,501 EUR or $2,801 USD. The final standard price depends on the agreed scope and is confirmed before payment.
The build price covers planning, original visual design, copywriting, responsive development and an agreed enquiry route for up to 25 pages. We agree the page plan and the information needed to build it with you. Two consolidated rounds of refinements to the agreed site are included.
The standard offer does not include bespoke software, ecommerce, large data or product catalogues, new brand identity work, paid third-party subscriptions, domain registration or complex integrations. We will explain any separately priced work before starting it. No extra work is charged without your agreement.
3. Your part in the process
After paying the deposit, please send a short brief and the business details we request. You are responsible for the accuracy and rights to use the information, images and other material you provide. We will ask you to check business facts, legal claims, contact details and final copy before publication. Do not send passwords or sensitive account access through the public forms.
4. First review and launch
We deliver a first reviewable website within 48 hours after both your deposit and the necessary business details are confirmed. This is a first review milestone, not a promise that the site will be live within 48 hours. We will tell you promptly if missing information or an exceptional obstacle affects that milestone.
After your two refinement rounds, we check the site with you and publish once you approve the site, the balance is paid and we have the necessary domain access. We will coordinate any domain change with you. We do not take ownership of your domain or existing email setup.
5. Optional hosting
Optional hosting of the agreed website is £25 GBP, €30 EUR or $39 USD per month. These are fixed prices, not exchange-rate conversions. We confirm the amount and billing currency when hosting is arranged at launch. Content changes, new pages, a redesign, new functionality and integrations are separate work, quoted before they begin.
If you choose hosting, it is arranged separately at launch. The first monthly charge is due one calendar month after launch, then monthly. There is no minimum term. You can cancel by emailing [email protected] before the next renewal; we will confirm the end date and stop future renewal charges. Paying for the website build does not itself start the monthly subscription.
Managed Website option
For websites built by UpOnUp, the optional Managed Website plan is £149 per month and includes hosting, backups/recovery, routine maintenance and security upkeep, uptime/form checks and small edits to existing text, images and contact details requested by email or message. New pages, redesigns, features and integrations are quoted separately. The edit allowance, service details and billing terms are agreed before subscription. Hosting is included in this plan, so the standalone hosting fee is not charged as well. Today’s one-off website payment does not start either monthly service.
SEO & AI Search Optimisation
This is a separately quoted project for UpOnUp-built websites or an agreed new UpOnUp build. Before work starts, the written scope identifies the pages and changes included, required access, delivery stages, price, checks and follow-up review. Existing website-build search foundations are not charged again as new work. Ongoing optimisation requires a separate agreement; it does not start automatically. Search rankings, AI citations, traffic and enquiries are not guaranteed. We do not edit another provider’s website under this service.
6. Ownership and moving your site
After both parts of the build price are paid, your finished website and project files are yours. We will supply a copy on request, including if you end our hosting, so you are free to arrange another host. Third-party fonts, software, images or other assets remain subject to their own licence terms; we will identify any material restrictions relevant to handover. Your domain remains under your control.
7. Cancellation, refunds and concerns
If you want to stop the build, email us as soon as possible. We will discuss refunds case by case, taking account of work already completed and any rights you have under law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. If a problem arises, please tell us so we can put it right.
Because the first review is intended within 48 hours, your order asks us to begin work after you provide the required details. If a statutory cooling-off right applies to your purchase, any effect of work begun during that period will be handled according to the law. Please contact us before paying if you would prefer work to start later.
8. Payment and communication
Stripe is our primary payment route. Pay by card or the eligible options shown at checkout. We confirm Stripe payment from the payment provider's records; opening checkout or returning to this site alone does not confirm payment.
Bank transfer remains available as an alternative. Use the exact amount, currency, receiving details and payment reference shown in your saved bank-transfer order. Creating that order or telling us a transfer has been sent does not confirm payment; we confirm it after checking bank receipt. International transfer timing depends on the route and may be affected by sending banks, intermediaries or compliance checks. Ask your bank about its transfer and currency-conversion charges before sending.
We use your order email to discuss the project, send progress and handover information, and answer support requests. Our privacy notice explains more.
