Angelos Italian restaurant website design

Scottish coastal blue, warm cream and a view across the harbour give Angelos its own setting. Across ten pages, the website brings together Italian cooking, seafood, the dining room and practical visit information, with a little movement inspired by the sea and the kitchen.

An Italian restaurant with a Scottish coastal identity

Bring the food and the coastal setting together without making visitors work to find the menu. The website needed room for the restaurant’s character, clear routes into different kinds of meal and useful information for planning a visit.

Food, restaurant character and a planned visit

Give the food its own pages

Seafood, pasta and pizza, Sunday lunch, and wine each have space beyond the main menu. Visitors can explore the meal they have in mind, with dish descriptions and prices in readable page content. The main menu brings the choices together with filters to narrow them down.

Connect the coast and the kitchen

The blue and cream identity runs through the navigation, wavy details and page layouts. On the homepage, an animated sea-and-fire section connects the coastal setting with the cooking. Food and room imagery carry that same character into the inner pages.

Make room for the restaurant’s character

The dining room and the Angelo profile each have a full page, giving visitors more to explore than a menu alone. The visit page brings the Anstruther setting and practical information together, close to the next step in planning a meal.

The Angelos reservation form with service, date, party size and preferred time

Keep the reservation details together

Lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch have different service times. The reservation form keeps the meal, date, party size and time together, and checks the choices before continuing. Its current unavailable notice makes clear that no table has been reserved.
