Electrician
website design.
We design, write and build websites that explain the electrical work you take on and help customers make a useful first enquiry.
Someone planning new lighting knows what they want to change. Someone with a fault may only know what has stopped working. Give each a clear way to reach you, with enough information to understand what happens next.
Three reasons
to get in touch.
The website should help someone recognise their situation. We shape the services around what you actually offer.
Install or change
something- Information that helps
- The intended work, property type and preferred timeframe.
- The next conversation
- Confirm the fit, discuss an assessment and agree the scope.
Investigate
a fault- Information that helps
- A short description of the problem, in the customer’s own words.
- The next conversation
- Explain how fault finding is arranged and further work is agreed.
Arrange
an inspection- Information that helps
- The property, the inspection requested and any relevant deadline.
- The next conversation
- Confirm what the inspection covers and the documentation provided.
You confirm the service descriptions and what happens after each enquiry. A message does not confirm attendance.
Show where
your work fits.
A homeowner adding sockets and a business planning work in occupied premises have different questions. Explain which properties you work in and which services you provide for each.
Use recognisable service names, with enough detail to distinguish a complete installation, an alteration and a repair. Our service-page guide explains how to turn that knowledge into useful pages.
Inspection and reporting
Explain the service
behind the report.
A customer asking for an inspection may have a report name in mind without knowing what the appointment involves. Explain the inspection you offer, the properties it covers and the documentation they receive.
Use the terminology appropriate to where you work. You approve the scope, practical arrangements and wording about reports or certificates. Where further work may follow an inspection, explain how you discuss and agree it.
Does inspection work need a separate page?
It can, when the customer needs a different explanation from someone requesting an installation. We agree the page plan around those decisions. Inspection intervals, legal requirements and technical claims need your checked, locally appropriate wording.
Let people describe
what they know.
A customer with an unexplained problem should be able to enquire without choosing a diagnosis. Start with their description, the general area, property type, timing and a way to reply.
For planned work, ask what they want to add or change. For an inspection, ask which service they are requesting and why timing matters. Keep private access details for a later conversation.
Choose useful enquiry questionsExplain how you respond.
Agree who receives each enquiry and what the confirmation message says. If a job needs investigation before you can price repairs, explain that process.
Publish the actual contact hours and any callout arrangements you offer. Fault finding should not automatically be presented as an emergency service.
Can customers book an electrician online?
We can plan a link to an existing booking provider. Live attendance slots, dispatch, automatic estimates, payments and customer document portals need separate requirements. The website’s confirmation must match what your team or booking system has actually agreed.
Give the details
some context.
We organise genuine project photographs and descriptions around the work you want to show. Explain what you did and why that detail matters. You confirm the facts and permission to publish.
Use current, owner-approved qualifications, registrations and membership marks with their correct scope. An authorised verification link can help visitors check a claim. Keep customer records, addresses and report contents private.
Do we need finished project photographs to begin?
No. We can start with your services, coverage and business details. Photographs you own or have permission to use can be planned into the design. Tell us what material you have before we agree the pages.
A complete website.
A clear agreement.
We handle the words, design and build together, with a page plan we agree with you. Original design and copywriting, up to 25 responsive pages, an agreed enquiry route and 2 consolidated refinement rounds are included.
A first reviewable version follows within 48 hours of receiving your deposit and confirming the business details we need. You review the facts and approve the finished website before launch.
